At New Vienna UMC we have several scout groups in which boys and girls can be involved.
Cub Scouts
We are the charter organization for Cub Scout Pack 797 which is open to all boys grades 1-5. Meetings are held at the church on Thursdays, from 6:00-7:00 pm. Pack meetings are held the first Thursday of each month.
All are welcome to attend. Cub Scouts are open to all boys in grades 1-5. Families are encouraged to participate in all scouting events.
Registration is open – boys can join in anytime throughout the year.
Boy Scouts
Boy Scout Troop 97 meets at the church on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:00 pm. Troop 97 welcomes boys in grades 6-12 to join. Registration is open throughout the year.
Daisies, Brownies and Juniors
New Vienna UMC is the sponsor group for the Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Scout Troop 30433. Girls from Kindergarten to 5th grade can be a part of these troops.
Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts meet on Mondays. Meeting time is 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts are open to all girls, kindergarten to third grade. Girls enjoy a fun-filled time with hands-on learning.
Junior Girl Scouts
Girls in grades 4-5 are invited to join. Girl Scout Juniors earn badges and discover what girl power is all about through new activities and by learning to take charge of their own plans.
The Junior Girl Scout Troop meets at New Vienna UMC on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30 pm.
